A team of researchers studied the role of the hormone serotonin, which is stored in the pancreas along with insulin, to see if its absence had any effect on insulin production. Their results showed that the absence of serotonin in the pancreas of mice led to their rapidly developing diabetes. The results, published in the journal Public Library of Science (PLoS) Biology, offer a promising new direction in diabetes research
Researches at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Yeshiva University have said that the finding could lead to anti-aging drugs

The report continues to say that in the afternoon, Peres spoke to the Brazilian Jewish community about the Iranian president and that Israel's message is of peace and said that the Iranian president is not viewed in a good light and invited him to Israel to see for himself the prove of the Holocaust. Further in the report, Peres was given a soccer shirt as a gift that went along with the previous gift that was given to him by the Brazilian soccer superstar Ronaldo earlier

Future Shock
Today's Dry Bones cartoon is called Future Shock. Future Shock was a concept and a book published back in 1970 by Alvin Toffler.
The term refers to the confusion and disorientation which, he claimed, we would all suffer in the future. It would occur when technological advances would come faster than we, as individuals or as societies, could handle. Back then. Toffler was called a "futurist" (as opposed to a sociologist). His simplest definition of future shock was "too much change in too short a period of time".

Archeologist: The Arabs Violated Status Quo on the Temple Mount
In wake of the claims according to which Israel is excavating under the dome of the rock and harming Muslim structures, IsraelNN speaks with archeologist Dr. Gabriel Barkay. Dr. Barkay clarifies that the truth is the opposite – it's the Arabs who have acted against the status quo and have excavated "brutally" land which contains many ancient artifacts from Jewish history.
In the following video Dr. Barkay speaks with Yoni Kempinski about the "Sifting Project" in which countless archeological finds are being discovered in the rubble dug up by the Muslims. Dr. Barkay also relates to his most famous discoveries - small silver plaques containing the priestly benediction from the Book of Numbers, which he discovered in 1979 at Ketef Hinnom. These plaques contain the oldest surviving biblically-related inscription discovered to date, dating back to 600 BC
