Mayo Clinic Presentation of Continuous Chest Compression CPR - Cardiocerebral Resuscitation

Cardiocerebral resuscitation (CCR) is a new approach to patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrest that has been shown to improve rates of neurologically intact survival by 250%--300% over the approach advocated by the 2000 American Heart Association guidelines. And EMS systems can realize these improvements without having to buy a single new gadget or device

"And you shall command the children of Israel to kindle the lamps continually." (Exodus 27:20) The light of the golden menora symbolizes the light of G-d in this world. If so, then why are we instructed to "kindle the lamps?" By actively lighting the menora, we are making G-ds light our light, as well. In this manner we are able to spread G-ds light to all mankind.

Tetzave (Exodus 27:20-30:10)

We're dealing with the rules of the priestly clothing: an epic dress code that involves crimson and gold, linen and wool, a tunic, sash, and robe. What you have to remember is that there isn't an H&M in the deserts of the Biblical Middle East, so making garments like this was a serious undertaking

I think this is great!

Beginning of Megilat Esther being read and Purim in the Morrocan tradition

Jewishfan

The Book of Esther (Megillat Esther in Hebrew), the basis for the Purim holiday, recounts one of the most beloved of all biblical stories. Purim Illustration Haman, the arch villain of the story, devises a plan to annihilate the Jews of Persia which is approved by the Persian King Ahasuerus. Through a complex turn of events, the Jewish Queen Esther and her adoptive father Mordechai manage to intercede with the king, thwart Haman's evil plan, and destroy Haman, his family and other enemies of the Jewish people. The holiday of Purim is then proclaimed - March '08
